Rotary and fold-down clotheslines from Hills are built to last, but their plastic parts are not: arm caps, line tensioners, hub and gear covers, handle parts and locking collars go chalky in the Phuket sun and then crack. The steel frame is usually fine, so it feels wasteful to replace the whole clothesline because of a small plastic piece that nobody sells locally.

How we make it

The best way is to send us the broken part itself (by Grab in Phuket, we return it with the new one) or several photos of it with a ruler next to it. We measure it, model a replacement for Hills clotheslines from scratch and print it. If the old part is in pieces, we rebuild the missing shape from the matching part on the other arm. Where a part takes load, we make it thicker than the factory part and print it with strong infill.

These are aftermarket parts compatible with Hills clotheslines, not made or endorsed by Hills, and they carry no brand logos.

Material

PETG handles sun, rain and wet clothes much better than standard PLA. We pick a colour close to your clothesline.
